Sea Pro Warranty Information

  • THERE IS NO IMPLIED WARRANTY FOR THIS PRODUCT. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED SPECIFICALLY HEREIN, THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF, AND SEA PRO BOATS LLC EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS, ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES UNDER THE UNIFORM COMMERCIAL CODE, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY FOR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SEA PRO BOATS LLC. MAKES NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES EXCEPT AS SET FORTH IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
  • THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ALSO LIMITS AND ALTERS YOUR REMEDIES. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF ANY PERSON OR ENTITY FOR ANY CLAIM, WHETHER THAT CLAIM SOUNDS IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR IN ANY OTHER BASIS FOR RECOVERY. SEA PRO BOATS LLC.. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO ANY PERSON OR ENTITY FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, INCONVENIENCE, OR ANY OTHER LOSS OR DAMAGE, EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

Sea Pro Five -Year Limited Warranty

Sea Pro Boats, LLC (“Sea Pro”) warrants to the original purchaser for a period of five years from the date of delivery to the original purchaser that each Sea Pro will be free from defects of material and workmanship under normal recommended use only. This first year of ownership to the original purchaser labor and parts will be covered. Years 2-5 will be parts only to the original purchaser. This warranty does not transfer to the 2nd owner.

  1. During this five-year period, warranty repairs will be made by Sea Pro at its plant in Whitmire SC or at Sea Pro’s option, by an authorized Sea Pro Marine Dealer. Transportation charges to and from the place of repair will be the responsibility of the original purchaser. All repairs made under this warranty are subject to the approval of an Authorized Sea Pro Representative.
  2. Stress cracks are covered for the first year of ownership to the original purchaser.
  3. This Five -Year Warranty does not apply to carpet, upholstery, gelcoat finishes s, osmosis blistering, cracks equipment and accessories not manufactured by Sea Pro including windshield, windshield breakage, powder coating, engine and drivetrain or parts that have been altered or subjected to misuse or negligence, or to the achievement of any level of performance.
  4. A hull, component or any other product “s” that has been repaired without authorization of Sea Pro Boats LLC. Or has been altered in any way that affects its use and operation.
  5. Pinking on white upholstery is not covered under the Sea Pro warranty.
  6. Mold on upholstery is not covered under the Sea Pro warranty.
  7. Any Sea Pro that is used for commercial use has a 30-day warranty unless otherwise noted by Sea Pro LLC at time of purchase.
  8. Expenses related to inspection or warranty for hauling out, transportation to and from any dealer or Sea Pro LLC. Factory, towing or storage charges, inconvenience or loss of time or income, Will be the responsibility of the owner of the vessel.
  9. Engines, outdrives, controls, steering systems, propellers, stereos, depth finders, GPS units, jack plates, power poles, batteries, outrigger bases and other equipment or accessories that are not manufactured by SEA PRO BOATS LLC
  10. Discoloration, oxidation, bleeding or corrosion of any stainless-steel components or other metal products are not covered under the Sea Pro warranty.
  11. Any representation relating to speed, performance or weight of any part or component of the boat.
  12. Normal wear and tear maintenance items such as filters, bulbs, loose screws, or hardware are not covered under the Sea Pro warranty.
  13. Dealer preparation, cleaning, and final adjustments in preparing the boat for delivery or commissioning is not covered under the Sea Pro warranty.

Ten Year Hull Limited Warranty

  1. A. Sea Pro warrants to the original purchaser for a period of ten years from the date of delivery to the original purchaser that each Sea Pro hull will be free from structural defects in fiberglass material and fiberglass workmanship under normal recommend use.
  2. Sea Pro will repair or replace, at its option, any Sea Pro hull found to have a structural defect, provided the original purchaser returns the boat to Sea Pro at its plant in Whitmire SC, OR AT Sea Pro’s option, to an Authorized Sea Pro Marine Dealer. Transportation charges to and from the place will be the responsibility of the original purchaser
  3. This ten-year hull limited warranty does not apply to non- structural hull surface changes, such as fading, checking, crazing, blisters, and gelcoat cracks. Further, this warranty does not apply to hull damage caused by accidents, neglect, unauthorized repairs, items not installed on the boat by Sea Pro or the boats trailer. This warranty also does not apply to boats used for or in racing or for governmental, commercial, or business use.
  4. This ten-year warranty may be transferred to subsequent purchaser (s) of the boat during the warranty the warranty period provided that the boat passes a re-certification inspection by an Authorized Sea Pro Marine Dealer. Subsequent purchaser(s) shall pay $300 inspection fee and be responsible for transportation charges to and from the place of inspection. Re-certification is not automatic, and Sea Pro expressly reserves the right to deny re-certification should it be determined the boat fails inspection.

Limitation or Liability and Disclaimer

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, implied warranties, if any, which cannot be disclaimed, are limited in duration to the duration stated above. All other obligations or liabilities, including liability for loss of use, inconvenience, commercial loss, or consequential damages are hereby excluded.

Warranty Registration Requirement/ Acknowledgement of Limited Warranty

Sea Pro Warranty Registration is a condition precedent to warranty coverage. It is the sole responsibility of the original purchaser to require the dealer to fill out and submit the warranty registration form on the home page of the Sea Pro website (seapromfg.com) within 10 days of the date of sale. **A warranty claim cannot be approved if the boat is not warranty registered.

Miscellaneous

**Sea Pro reserves the right to alter models, change colors, specifications, materials, equipment, component parts and prices cease production of certain models at any time without notice, such changes shall be made without incurring obligations to equip or modify units produced prior to the date of such change. **

  • Scandvic – Shower spray heads are 5 years. (No labor)
  • Teak Isle – Console doors, 259 transom gates, 259 live well lids, bay boat console doors, dlx tackle storage are 1 year. (No labor)
  • Marine Mat – Helm pads, console pads, sea decking, ladder pads are 3 years on material. (No labor)
  • Jet – Footrests, h swim platforms, bow tables, sinks, bow table poles are 1 year. (No labor)
